India Kawasaki Motors has launched the new 2025 Ninja 1100SX sports tourer motorcycle in the country. The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX has been priced at Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom). And it comes with several upgrades, most notably a larger powertrain and other upgrades. Dealers have started taking bookings for the new sports tourer a few weeks ago. Deliveries should begin early next year.
What’s new in the Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX?
Kawasaki says that the gear ratios have been optimized to improve overall power delivery and fuel economy. In addition, the bi-directional quickshifter has been updated to allow gear shifts at slower speeds. Other changes include a new handlebar-mounted USB Type-C outlet and voice commands with smartphone connectivity.
Engine Power
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX is entering the fifth generation of the sports tourer. Power now comes from a 1099 cc inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is bigger than the previous 1043 cc motor. However, despite the higher displacement, it does not get more power. Instead, the engine generates 135 bhp of power, down from 142 bhp. The torque has increased from the previous 111 bhp to 113 bhp. The bike gets a bigger sprocket to improve acceleration. Which adds to its specialty.
Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX Features
Other features include a 4.3-inch TFT display, multiple power modes, traction control, ABS, cruise control, and more. The new Ninja 1100SX will be available in a single Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey/Metallic Diablo Black color scheme.
Braking and Suspension
The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX features almost identical bodywork, while the chassis remains the same. Upgrades include a larger rear disc brake, while the front gets Brembo Monoblock 4.32 calipers. Suspension duties are handled by adjustable 41mm USD Showa front forks and Ohlins S36 adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels with new Bridgestone Battlax S23 tires.
