Kia is going to launch its new SUV in India today (19 Dec 2024) in the Indian car market. This new SUV is believed to be a direct competitor to the Brezza and Nexon. The price of the new Syros can be less than 10 lakhs. Before the launch, the company has released several teasers that give information about its design. Kia Syros: Engine and Power 

According to the source, petrol and diesel engine options can be found in the new Kia Cyros. In which 1.2-liter petrol, 1-liter turbo-petrol, and 1.5-liter diesel engine options can be seen. Its 1.2-liter petrol engine will be equipped with 83 PS of power and a 5-speed manual gearbox, while its 1-liter turbo-petrol engine will come with 120 PS of power and a 6-speed iMT or 7-speed DCT. At the same time, the 1.5-liter diesel engine will have 116 PS of power and can be connected to a 6-speed MT, 6-speed iMT, or 6-speed AT.

Keeping in mind the needs of the customers, features like ventilated seats, push-button start/stop, a 360-degree parking camera, a wireless charger, and a panoramic sunroof can also be found in the new Kia Syros. Apart from this, it can have features like a dual-screen setup, a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver display, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Not only this, for safety, safety features like an anti-lock braking system with EBD, 6 airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) can be included in this car.
