Hyundai Creta EV Launch date in India: The time for an electric car that Indians have been waiting for a long time is now about to come. Yes, in the first month of the year 2025, the biggest motor show in India, Bharat Mobility Globus Expo 2025, is going to start, and on its first day, i.e., on January 17, Hyundai Motor can launch its new Creta EV. The Creta EV can be showcased at Hyundai Motor’s stall along with the premium electric SUV Ioniq 9 EV, and people from the country and the world will be able to see it.

Competition with popular electric SUVs

Hyundai Motor is going to enter a segment with its upcoming Creta EV, which has immense potential and will give tough competition to companies like Tata Motors and Mahindra & Mahindra as well as JSW MG Motor. Hyundai Creta EV will compete with electric SUVs like Mahindra BE6, Tata Curve EV, MG ZS EV, and Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming E Vitara.

Better changes in exterior and interior

For now, if we tell you about the Hyundai Creta EV, its design will be largely similar to the petrol-diesel Creta. However, some other changes can be seen in its exterior, including a new grille, bumper, and alloy wheel. Talking about the interior, it will see many new features along with a new steering wheel, center console, and drive selector. It is being said that the interior of the upcoming Creta EV will be inspired by the recently launched Alcazar SUV.

Many special features, including a big screen

The Hyundai Creta EV will have two big screens for infotainment and the instrument cluster. There will also be many physical buttons, which will make it easier to control things. Apart from this, it will have many more features, including an electronic parking brake, cooled seats, auto-hold, 6 airbags as standard, ventilated seats, and a 360-degree camera, which can make this electric SUV a favorite of the customers.

Power and range

Talking about the battery power and range of the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, it can have a 45kWh power battery pack. Its electric motor can give a power of about 138 hp and a peak torque of 255 Newton meters. Talking about the rest of the range, the Creta EV can give a range of between 400 to 500 kilometers on a single full charge.

This could be the initial possible price.

Let us tell you that the Hyundai Creta EV can be launched at an initial ex-showroom price of up to Rs 16 lakh. Hyundai Motor India is planning to manufacture around 24,000 units of the Creta EV every year.
